Kassia in Brief

Kassia occupies a long plot on Flora Drive. Along it stand four eight-storey blocks, numbered 31 and 33 on one side and 37 and 39 on the other, with the Grand Clubhouse at number 35 between the two pairs. The 50-metre lap pool runs behind Blocks 33 and 37, the leisure pool sits between Blocks 37 and 39, and lawns, ponds and garden alcoves fill the spaces around the blocks.

The clubhouse is the centrepiece of the design: three levels, from the Arrival Plaza in the basement to the Sky Leisure Walk on the second storey, wrapped in a vertical garden and, as the brochure puts it, full of splendid bends and curves. Cars stay below ground in a single basement car park, so the gardens above are for walking, swimming and play.

The developer’s site plan numbers 36 facilities: the Grand Clubhouse with its gym, multi-purpose rooms, Lantern Pond and Sky Leisure Walk; the lap pool, the leisure pool and the children’s aqua play area; and ponds, floating pods, decks, lawns, alcoves and urban farming plots in the gardens. The setting of Kassia

Flora Drive is a garden estate of condominiums in the east, between the towns of Tampines and Pasir Ris and the Changi Airport and Changi Business Park districts, with the Downtown Line at Tampines East and the coming Cross Island Line nearby. The location page maps it.
